Depending on the type and size of the dent ChipsAway offer two dent services -

Minor Dents

Minor dings & dents are common in most cars - frequently caused when parked due to supermarket trolleys, door handles, doors opened or item being dropped on the car. These small dents spoil the appearance of the car and detract from its value.

If the dent has not damaged the Paintwork of the car ChipsAway can remove the dent using specialised tools this is typically known as PDR (paintless dent removal). By accessing the back of the dented panel and applying pressure the dent can be massaged back to its original form. Panel replacement or re-painting is no longer a necessity. This method will reinstate the panel and is a virtually invisible repair to the panel.

PDR is the ideal treatment for small dings & dents and can be done without the need to fill and paint the car thus reducing time and the cost!

Larger Dents

For larger dents and creases where the paintwork of the car has been damaged and scratched we offer a traditional repair process using panel work & body filler.
The damaged area will be worked, filled then shaped to match the original line of the body panel. This area is then primed, blended with colour and lacquered to match the existing panel.
